Deia Bergdorf - Ausflugsziele Mallorca

Eines der romantischsten Dörfer an der mallorquinischen Westküste ist wohl das Örtchen Deia.

  Deia befindet sich an der berühmten Ausflugsstrecke direkt an der Steilküste in Westen der Insel Mallorca, die Straße trägt die Nr. MA-10. Diese Tour führt in Ihrer gesamten Länge von Paguera bis kurz vor Puerto de Soller und sollte zum Pflichtprogramm eines jeden Mallorca Urlaub gehören.

  Deia selbst ist ein verträumtes Bergdorf, welches von den meisten Touristen nur auf der Küstenstraße durchfahren wird, ohne die wirkliche Schönheit von Deia zu endecken. Schon bei der Zufahrt auf Deia sehen Sie das Wahrzeichen des Ortes vor sich auf einem Hügel, dir Dorfkirche mit dem dazugehörigen Friedhof auf dem der berühmte Schriftsteller Robert Ranke Graves ursprünglisch aus England stammend begraben ist. Gleich hinter dem Ortseingangsschild von Deia sehen Sie auf der linken Seite einen Parkplatz, diesen sollten Sie lieber gleich ansteuern, da die Parkkapazitäten in dem Ort sehr begrenzt sind. Wenn Sie Ihren Mietwagen abgestellt haben, ist der Weg zur Dorfkirche nicht zu verfehlen. Der nicht beschwerliche ” Aufstieg ” auf den Hügel führt durch kleine wildromatische Gassen und dauert bei langsamen Spaziergang max. 10min.. Nach dem Besuch der Kirche von Deia, sollten Sie auch wenn es für einige Makaber klingen mag, den Friedhof hinter der Kirche besuchen. Von diesem Friedhof hat man einen der schönsten Ausblicke auf die bewaldeten Hänge der Westküste und das Meer. Deia auch wieder ein kleines Dorf, zu dem es wenig zu erzählen gibt, aber wegen seiner herausragenden Schönheit einen Besuch wert ist…
